Become a student Leader! Defy your parents.
Elected student leaders are the future. Student leaders are committed to making a
difference to their own lives and to the lives of others. Entering the process of elections at
student level builds the necessary skills, confidence and motivation for young people to
engage directly in the wider improvement of their school and home environment.
Developing leadership skills enables students to become advocates of their own needs as
well as the needs of others. It lies at the heart of building a sense of community and it
builds effective relationships that could extend into professional after school life.
