The Wall Street Journal Europe Future Leadership Institute is a Wall Street Journal Europe platform designed to bridge the gap between universities and industry.
Building on The Wall Street Journal Europe’s long established Future Leadership Program, the Institute organizes an on-going series of seminars and networking opportunities structured to bring together industry leaders and university students.
The Journal Europe Future Leadership Institute's members, visitors and readers engage in research through seminars and publications.
The Institute typically does not engage in organizing large scale events, but concentrates on organizing small scale, intimate seminars preferably inside universities, business schools or educational institutions.
All related seminar parties (Speakers, Sponsors and Audience) are carefully selected with the goal of creating a strong qualitative educational moment. Seminar sessions tend to be informal. Q&A between Speakers and Audience plays a significant roll in the success of the Future Leadership Institute Seminars.
The seminars are meant to provide a Wall Street Journal Europe forum to exchange ideas and high-quality (economic) research. The seminars cover a wide array of topics including, but not limited to: management and leadership issues in banking and finance, production, trade, industrial organization, economic history, sports, sustainability, law, consumption, policy and regulation, macro-economics and marketing.
